WEST VIRGINIA LAW OFFICERS TAKE FREEMAN AND HUGHES FROM CCNO
A pair of fugitives from the law in West Virginia are headed back to the Mountaineer State, after their arrest in Napoleon and Archbold on September 19th. 51 year old Charles Freeman, and 58 year old David Hughes both waived extradition, and will be facing charges of Murder, Robbery, and Kidnapping in Lewis County, West Virginia; in a double homicide that occurred in December 1999. Freeman was arrested at 734 South Perry Street in Napoleon; while David Hughes was apprehended at a Lutz Road location in Archbold.
The trail for Freeman and Hughes heated-up when an investigator in West Virginia received new information recently from witnesses involved in that murder. Two law officers from Harrison County, West Virginia took the suspects into their custody on Tuesday at the corrections center of northwest Ohio. The deputies also gathered information about Freeman and Hughes, while they were living in Napoleon and Archbold.
