PATRICK HENRY SCHOOL BD. APPROVES LEASE OF BUSES

The Patrick Henry School board of education has approved a lease agreement that will lead to the purchase of four new school busses over the next four years.  This lease-to-purchase agreement allows the district to lock-in the price, and negates any price hikes over the next four years.   The cost per bus in this purchase is about $81,300.

The Patrick Henry board hired Brooke Yungmann as varsity gymnastics coach for the coming season; and they welcomed the new student liaison, Lindsay Parry.

Extra costs for special education were reviewed by the Patrick Henry school board, at $198,414.              There was discussion about changing the policy for students and electronic devices, since those are now utilized in classroom application.                   And overnight trips were approved for the 7th graders to attend Camp Palmer in May 2014; while the Patrick Henry 5th grade will make a trip to Washington DC from May 7th through 10th.
