They’re still talking at Napoleon Area Schools, where the administration and school board of education are negotiating with the Napoleon Faculty Association concerning a new contract. The previous agreement expired June 30th between the two sides; and the Napoleon board will then be working on a bargaining agreement with the non-teaching union employees of the district.
Heading toward fall, Napoleon still has a couple of teaching openings they will be working to fill. There is a need for an 8th grade science instructor, along with a special education position at the high school.
The next meeting for the Napoleon school board of education is their regular session on Wednesday evening.
