MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS IN HENRY COUNTY OVER WEEKEND

The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated two injury accidents over the weekend, both involving motorcycles.  At 5:33am Saturday, 57 year old Leonel Sifuentes of McClure was driving his motorcycle on county road P in Damascus Township, when a deer darted into his path.   Sifuentes bike overturned, and slid into the ditch, causing serious injuries for the operator.   Leonel Sifuentes was transported from the scene by Life Flight, and was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center.

Then on Saturday evening, two motorcycle drivers crashed on state route 110 as they followed each other around a curve in Damascus Township.  Injured in the accident were 57 year old Michael VanAlstine of Holland, and 22 year old Justin VanAlstine of Maumee.   McClure Rescue responded to the scene; but neither driver was transported.

The Henry County Sheriff’s office reports they recovered a stolen boat and trailer that had been stolen from the Delta area on Friday.  The equipment was located at road U and 3 in the Liberty Center area Friday evening.
