More interviews are being conducted in Fulton County, where the body of 28 year old Brandi Gonyer-Boaston was found in a vehicle Saturday morning in Royalton Township of Fulton County. Seargant Smithmeyer with the Fulton County Sheriff’s office reports hunters came upon the vehicle, and reported the incident to the sheriff’s office. They apparently did not see the body inside; and the sheriff’s office is not releasing information as to where Gonyer-Boaston’s body was located in the SUV. The vehicle was about 30 yards off the road, and was running. There were reports that SUV had been there even the day before.
The victim was a mother of 3; and lived with her family in the Holland area near Toledo. Her mother reported her missing around 1:30am on Saturday. The coroner’s report from Lucas County indicated the victim had died of asphyxiation; which initiated a homicide investigation in the case. Seargent Smithmeyer did not comment on where Gonyer-Boaston was last seen. The vehicle was processed for evidence; but there was no information as to what was found inside the SUV, other than the body.
