LIBERTY CENTER COUNCIL SEEKING MORE MEMBERS

The village of Liberty Center has committed to be a partner in the new Napoleon water plant project; but are still waiting on the percentage they will pay toward the cost.  The number of overall participants in the project is yet to be determine, which will have an impact on the final cost.

Liberty Center council approved a second reading on an ordinance that changes the pay for village council and board members from a per meeting basis, to a salary.  This was a recommendation from the public employee retirement system of Ohio.

A budget meeting for 2014 expenses in Liberty Center is set for November 19th at 5pm.

Residents are reminded, the curbside vacuum service for leaf collection is underway in Liberty Center.

And council is looking for interested residents to join the village council, with two retiring members slots not being filled in 2014.  They are Cheryl Mann and Brian Rogers.    Contact the Liberty Center municipal building for more details.
