HENRY COUNTY RAIDS MARIJUANA PATCHES
The Multi Area Narcotics Unit made a stop in Henry County Thursday, as part of their drug eradication efforts. Raids were made on several locations in Henry County yesterday morning, with 50 marijuana plants seized along road T-3 in Washington Township. Another 16 marijuana plants were located and taken from a site along U.S. 24 in the village of Texas. Drug investigators also seized guns in these raids; but there was no information if charges were being filed in this investigation. Henry County Sheriff Mike Bodenbender reports some of those plants were 12 to 15 feet in height. The street value of those marijuana plants grabbed in Henry County would top $65,000. The Henry County Sheriff’s office assisted the MAN unit in the drug raid.
