HENRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SELECT DEPOSITORIES

 

Following a recommendation from Henry County treasurer Calvin Spiess, the commissioners have unanimously approved the Henry County Bank as the depository for county funds over the next four years. 

                        Henry County has entered into a contract with Frey and Sons, Inc. to sell 4 pieces of equipment no longer needed at the landfill.  The time frame for bidding will be November 10th thru the 20th.

                        A contract for recording services at the Henry County Sheriff’s office was approved at a cost of $2,100.

            Two more houses were contracted for demolition in Henry County, one along road 17 near New Bavaria, at a cost of $11,700.  Another is located on road M near Grelton, and will come down at a cost of $11,200.

                                    Henry County Maintenance Director Eric Weller brought some lighting proposals for the courthouse to commissioners, but more discussion is planned for Thursday.

Commissioners are looking at new options for Henry County employees dental, vision, short term disability, and other coverages.

And a contract for nearly $43,000 was approved in computer software support for the Henry County auditor’s office.
