The Henry County Sheriff’s office and Drug Enforcement Administration are joining forces this Saturday in the 7th ‘drug take-back’ day. Residents are invited to scour their medicine cabinets for out-dated, un-used and un-wanted prescription medications. Those medicines should be dropped off at the Henry County Sheriff’s office on
Last April, Americans turned-in 371 tons of prescription drugs, at over 5,800 sites around the country. Medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to theft, mis-use, and abuse.
The drug take-back program is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
