DESHLER COUNCIL LOOKING FOR SURVEY RETURNS

Residents in the village of Deshler are encouraged to watch for income surveys, coming in the mail.   Those surveys should be returned to the village; and are important in the process of applying for grant dollars, to help with the next sewer project in Deshler.   Without the grant money, residents will have to pay a bigger percentage of the project.

Deshler Council approved a resolution of support for the Henry County solid waste plan.                     Council approved a request to split a parcel on Pine Street during their session this week.                 And Isiah Paniagua was hired as a part-time village employee; while Kenneth Shurema announced his resignation as a part-time police officer.

The village of Deshler is gearing-up for their 4th of July celebration; with activities scheduled for Saturday,  July 6th; including fireworks, a car-show, and a chicken barbeque.   Activities are scheduled for the area of Stearns Avenue.
