BREAK-INS REPORTED IN HENRY AND PUTNAM COUNTIES
Law officers from Henry and Putnam County are joining forces in trying to solve theft-crimes that have been reported over the past few weeks. New Bavaria got hammered by thieves on Wednesday, when at least 5 property-owners in that area reported items stolen.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office reports a purse was stolen from a vehicle along road Y in Pleasant Township.
Another purse was stolen from a vehicle on Walnut Street in New Bavaria yesterday morning.
A resident on Walnut Street reported thieves broke into their home Wednesday.
Some money was stolen from a vehicle parked on Railroad Street in New Bavaria.
And some cash was stolen from an another auto on Walnut Street- all in the village of New Bavaria yesterday morning. Putnam County Sheriff Michael Chandler reports his office has investigated 52 break-ins involving items stolen from vehicles over the past few months.
