BISHER OFFICIALLY TURNS OVER CITY MANAGER DUTIES

Today is the official last day for Jon Bisher as city manager of Napoleon.  The Napoleon native has served the city in the lead administrative role for nearly 2 decades, after moving over from the Henry County Community Improvement Corporation.       Bisher will hand the baton to Monica Irelan, who was selected by Napoleon Council to fill that position.   A ceremony to wrap-up Bisher’s tenure will take place at city hall at 12:15 this afternoon.

The former city manager will remain a city employee as special projects clerk, where he will direct the new water treatment plant project, and keep the city’s seat on the AMP board of directors in the municipal electric cooperative.
